How to use any template

  1. Use any AI chat or coding tool you already have. The prompts are tool-agnostic.
  2. Paste the prompt, replace the [BRACKETS], save the output, open it in a browser.
  3. Change one thing per follow-up prompt, and keep a copy of every working version.
  4. Read what the AI wrote before you publish or run anything on real data.

Safety rules that apply to all of them

  • Never paste passwords, API keys, bank logins or other people's private data into an AI tool.
  • Anything an agent does for you should be draft-only until you have read it.
  • Money templates are educational, not financial advice.
Status: these templates are brand new and haven't yet been run end-to-end in a third-party AI tool. Treat them as a starting point, check the output, and tell us if something breaks. We'll add a 'Tested on' line (tool, model, date) once each one has been tested.

1 · Landing page via vibe coding

Time: ~30 min · Level: beginner · Needs: an AI tool, a browser

Goal

Get a clean, responsive one-page site (hero, 3 benefits, signup placeholder, footer) as plain HTML + CSS that you can open locally and later host anywhere.

Prompt (paste this)

You are a careful front-end developer. Build a landing page for: [WHAT IT IS, one sentence].
Audience: [WHO IT'S FOR]. Main promise: [ONE SENTENCE]. Tone: [e.g. friendly, direct].

Deliver exactly two files: index.html and styles.css. Rules:
- No frameworks, no build step, no external requests (no CDNs, no web fonts, no trackers).
- Sections: hero with headline + subheadline + one button; 3 benefit cards; a "how it works"
list of 3 steps; an email signup block; a short FAQ (3 items, using <details>); footer.
- The signup block must be a clearly marked PLACEHOLDER with an HTML comment
"<!-- REPLACE WITH EMAIL-SERVICE EMBED -->". The form must not send data anywhere yet.
- Mobile-first, responsive, readable at 360px wide. Dark or light theme: [CHOOSE].
- Accessible: semantic HTML, one <h1>, alt text, visible focus states, contrast ratio >= 4.5:1.
- Include <title>, meta description and Open Graph tags.
- Do NOT invent testimonials, statistics, logos or prices. Use clear placeholders instead.
After the code, list 5 things I must replace before publishing.

Expected result

Two files. Opening index.html shows a polished one-page site that looks good on phone and desktop, and a visible placeholder where your email form goes.

Troubleshooting

  • CSS not applied: make sure both files are in the same folder and the HTML has <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">.
  • Looks generic: follow up with "Give it a distinct look: [two adjectives], one accent color, bigger headline, more whitespace."
  • Invented claims or fake numbers: reply "Remove every claim I didn't provide; use placeholders."
  • Layout breaks on mobile: "Test at 360px width and fix overflow; don't change the design."
  • Next step: paste your email service's embed code over the marked placeholder; only then publish.

2 · A simple AI agent that automates a weekly task (draft-only)

Time: ~30 min · Level: beginner · Needs: an AI chat tool. No code, no account access.

Goal

Turn a messy week of notes into a one-page weekly review with wins, blockers and next-week priorities. The "agent" is a reusable instruction set that only drafts; it never sends, deletes or posts anything.

Prompt (paste this once, then paste your notes each week)

ROLE: You are my Weekly Review Agent. You only draft text for me to read. You never
claim to have sent, saved, scheduled or deleted anything, and you never act outside this chat.

INPUT: I will paste raw notes from the past week (bullets, to-dos, calendar items, thoughts).
If something is unclear, ask at most 3 questions BEFORE writing. If I say "go", write anyway
and mark guesses with [?].

OUTPUT (max 300 words, in this exact structure):
1. Wins (3-5 bullets, concrete, with numbers or outcomes if present in my notes)
2. Slipped / blocked (bullets, each with the likely reason)
3. Patterns I might be missing (max 2, flagged as observations, not facts)
4. Next week: top 3 priorities (one line each) + 1 "small win" that takes <= 30 minutes
5. One question for me to think about

RULES:
- Use only information in my notes. Do not invent tasks, dates, names or numbers.
- Keep my own wording where possible. No motivational fluff.
- If my notes contain secrets (passwords, keys, card numbers), stop and tell me to remove them.

Reply "Ready" and wait for my notes.

Expected result

After you paste your notes, you get a tidy review in the five-part structure, with [?] where the agent had to guess. Takes about 30 seconds per week once set up.

Troubleshooting

  • It invents things: add "Quote the note line each bullet comes from."
  • Too long or too fluffy: "Cut to 150 words; remove adjectives."
  • Want automation: save the prompt as a reusable "custom instructions" / "project" / "saved prompt" in your AI tool. Only connect calendars or inboxes later, with read-only access first, and never let it send.
  • Notes are scattered: keep one running notes.txt and paste the last 7 days.

3 · A small browser game in one prompt

Time: ~45 min · Level: beginner · Needs: an AI tool, a browser

Goal

Get a playable mini-game in a single HTML file, then improve it in small steps. The trick is scope: one core loop, one screen, one way to lose.

Prompt (paste this)

Build a single-file browser game: game.html (HTML + CSS + JavaScript, no libraries,
no external requests). Use a <canvas>.

Game: [PICK ONE: "dodge falling blocks", "catch falling coins", "snake", "tiny 2-lane runner"].
Controls: arrow keys / A-D on desktop AND on-screen left/right buttons on mobile.
Rules:
- One core loop only. Score goes up over time or per catch. One way to lose. Restart with Space or a button.
- Difficulty increases slowly (every 10 seconds).
- Show score and best score (save best score in localStorage).
- Simple shapes only (no images or audio files). Pleasant color palette, large readable text.
- Pause with P. 60 fps using requestAnimationFrame; use delta time so speed is the same on all screens.
- Keep it under ~250 lines with short comments.
Before the code, write 3 lines: the core loop, the win/lose condition, and what is OUT of scope.
Output the full file.

Expected result

A game page you can open by double-clicking game.html: a moving player, a falling or moving hazard, a rising score, game over screen, restart.

Troubleshooting

  • Nothing moves / frozen: open the console (F12), paste the error: "Fix only this error."
  • Feels unfair or too easy: "Make the first 10 seconds easier and increase speed by 5% every 10 seconds."
  • Too many features creep in: keep a list "NOT NOW" and add one feature per prompt: sound, particles, power-up, high-score table.
  • Mobile controls missing: "Add touch buttons, prevent page scroll on touch."
  • Game jam mindset: if you can't describe the game in one sentence, cut something.

4 · Personal finance tracker (local-only)

Time: ~45 min · Level: beginner · Needs: an AI tool, a browser, and (optional) a CSV of your own expenses

Educational only. Not financial advice.

Goal

A single-page expense and savings tracker that runs only in your browser: no accounts, no bank connections, no server. Data stays in your browser's storage and can be exported.

Prompt (paste this)

Build a single-file local-first personal finance tracker: tracker.html (HTML + CSS + JS,
no libraries, no external requests, no analytics).

Features:
- Add a transaction: date, amount, category, note. Income positive, expenses negative.
- Import a CSV (columns: date, amount, category, note) and export all data to CSV.
- Monthly summary: income, expenses, net, savings rate (net / income), and a bar chart by category (canvas).
- A "goal" box: target amount and monthly saving; show projected months to goal using plain
arithmetic, with the formula visible. Offer an optional "assumed yearly growth %" input defaulting to 0.
- Data is stored ONLY in localStorage. Add a visible "Delete all data" button with confirmation.
- Show this text in the footer: "Educational tool. Not financial advice. Data stays in this browser."
- Currency symbol configurable (default: [YOUR CURRENCY]).

Safety rules for the code: never ask for bank credentials, never make network requests,
escape all user text (no innerHTML with raw input), validate numbers and dates.
Dark theme, responsive. Under ~300 lines. Include 5 sample rows of fake data behind a
"Load demo data" button. Output the full file.

Expected result

A page where you can add or import transactions and see monthly totals, savings rate, a category chart and a goal projection, all offline.

Troubleshooting

  • CSV import fails: check that the header row is exactly date, amount, category, note and dates are YYYY-MM-DD. Ask the AI: "Make the importer show which row failed."
  • Numbers look wrong: test with the demo data and a calculator; ask the AI to print its formulas.
  • Data disappeared: localStorage is per browser and per file location. Export CSV regularly.
  • Want charts per month or budgets? Add one feature at a time.
  • Privacy: don't upload real statements to a chat tool; test with fake data, then use the finished file offline with your real numbers.

5 · AI-art prompt gallery page

Time: ~40 min · Level: beginner · Needs: an AI coding tool, 6-12 images you made or have the rights to use

Goal

A static gallery site that shows your AI images with the prompt, tool and settings next to each one, so the page doubles as your personal prompt library and portfolio.

Prompt (paste this)

Build a static gallery website: index.html, styles.css, gallery.js and data.json
(no frameworks, no external requests, no web fonts).

- data.json holds an array of items: {"file":"images/01.jpg","title":"","alt":"","prompt":"","tool":"","model":"","date":"","notes":""}.
Create 3 example entries with placeholder file names (images/01.jpg ... images/03.jpg).
- gallery.js loads data.json and renders a responsive masonry-style grid (CSS columns is fine).
Lazy-load images. Clicking an image opens a lightbox with the large image, the full prompt,
a "Copy prompt" button, and the tool/model/date. Keyboard accessible: Esc closes, arrow keys navigate.
- Add a filter by tag (add "tags": [] to each item) and a search box over title and prompt.
- Required fields must be handled gracefully if missing. alt text is shown to screen readers.
- Add a footer note: "Images generated with AI tools. Prompts shared for learning."
- Dark, gallery-wall look, generous spacing, works at 360px width.
- Since browsers block fetch() on file:// pages, include a README.txt explaining how to preview with
"python3 -m http.server" in the folder, or by uploading to a static host.
Then list what I must replace before publishing (images, titles, alt text, credits).

Expected result

A folder with 4 files. After you add your images to images/ and edit data.json, you get a gallery with lightbox, copyable prompts and filtering.

Troubleshooting

  • Gallery blank when double-clicking index.html: browsers block fetch() on file://. Run python3 -m http.server in the folder and open http://localhost:8000, or ask the AI to embed the data in gallery.js.
  • Images huge and slow: resize to ~1600 px wide and export as JPG/WebP before adding.
  • Missing or unclear rights: only publish images you made and are allowed to share; check your tool's terms. Keep the "AI-generated" note.
  • Prompts look inconsistent: write a one-line style guide ("always include: lens, light, palette") and reuse it.
  • Alt text empty: describe what is visible in one sentence, not the prompt.
